CATALOGIZATION

OF FEARS

or the

manual for take off

SKCNS Factory 2016.

Catalogization of Fears or the Manual for Take Off is a theatre play inspired by the book "Portugal Today - Fear of Existence" work of philosopher Jose Gil that explores phenomenon of fear and how it effects the Portuguese society and the individual.

The play is actually some kind of dialogue with the book and the five stories that unfold are our response and thoughts about fear, how is it created, how it grows and influences us.

Gil speaks about Portugal and we speak about ourselves, our inner worlds, but also our country, the former one and the current one. This is the way the dialogue is created.
