BREATH

Breath in! Poetry!

was created with the intention of presenting a new beginning, celebrating the 51st May Exhibition, starting a new cycle with minimalist visual means and poetry verses.

The first fifty years were represented by warm colors in the watercolor technique.
Ranging from red, the color of blood and creation to yellow, the color of the mind, happiness and the energy of the sun.

The new beginning and the first year of the new cycle is represented by the transition to the cold half of the spectrum and the change of technique to pastel.
Although it belongs to the "cold", the chosen green color radiates freshness and symbolizes hope, growth and immortality, attributes that we can wish for in the new cycle of May exhibitions.

The verses that complete the work are part of the poem SURMISING THE FUTURE

In this context verses acquire new meanings:

And he'll embark on journeys
spurred on by warm winds

The breath of new life
will intoxicate the poisoned senses ...
